Workshop on Detection of Forged Postage Stamps












































































                 A one-day workshop on Detection of Forged Postage Stamps was organised by
      the Gujarat Postal Circle at the Postal Training Centre, Vadodara on 22.12.2025. The
      workshop aimed to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of postal officials in
      identifying  forged  and  tampered  postage  stamps.  Participants  were  sensitized  about
      various types of forgeries, security features of genuine postage stamps, and methods for
      detection, with emphasis on safeguarding postal revenue and maintaining the integrity
      of postal services. The session was conducted by Shri Ajay Bansod, AAO, PSD, Rajkot
      and Shri Milan Shah, Instructor, PTC Vadodara.
