Attending the Advanced Course on Procurement through GeM at Munnar,
Kerala, from 21.07.2025 to 25.07.2025, was a highly informative and enriching

experience. The program provided in-depth knowledge of the Government e-
Marketplace (GeM) platform and its role in ensuring transparency, efficiency,

and competitiveness in public procurement.

The sessions covered various aspects such as end-to-end e-procurement

processes, contract management, vendor evaluation, and policy compliance.
Practical demonstrations on the GeM portal enhanced understanding of how
digital tools can simplify procurement and strengthen accountability in

government operations.

The training also emphasized the importance of ethical procurement

practices and capacity building among officials to ensure fairness and value for
money in every transaction.

Overall, the program reinforced that digital procurement through GeM is
